650: Preservation of Library Materials

This course covered both preservation and conservation of library materials.  The course ran through the preventive measures through disaster preparation and recovery, as well as the attempts to preserve materials through conservation efforts.  This required examining both real and proposed scenarios as well as coming up with a proposed preservation action plan for a local library.

Westbrook Historical Society Preservation Plan Proposed preservation action plan for local historical society building containing  artifacts pertaining to the town’s history.

Continued Education Proposed programs and organizations for further study in the art of preservation of materials.
